Yeah, lol I didn't expect it to go away so soon anyway. I think my fever's gone down, but I've got tonsillitis now. I've been taking TheraFlu. Yaay, something I'm not allergic to
So my exams are officially finished, and I feel awful. I thought I'd be rejoicing but I'm so miserable. I think I did terribly in my exam. If I didn't get sick yesterday I think I would've had a much better chance. My A-Level exam counts for 50% of my overall Business Studies grade....*sigh*
I had an interview with some people about a modeling training program. This was yesterday. I was so nervous. They asked me to walk from one end of the room to the other and I did, but I had my head down, and I know I'm not supposed to do that. I do stupid things when I'm nervous. Anyhow, they asked me to sit down and began the interview. (I was especially nervous because my interview was being filmed)
The interview was actually ok...I loosened up within the first few minutes. Good thing I did, because they called me that night and told me I'd be accepted into the training program! I was sooo thrilled to hear that. I always felt that I mightn't be good enough...
However, there's a slight downside...They sort of expected me to model in front of them in a bikini on Wednesday. I told them I couldn't...since my parents and my bf have some strong objections against that. I also feel a bit uncomfortable being inspected in something not very different from my underwear However, I managed to get around it....I'll wear a short skirt and a tank top so they can still see my legs, which was what they wanted to get my skin tone and all that.
I know what you must be thinking (I think) I should have been prepared to do that sort of thing if I wanted to be modeling. But is it really necessary for me to be in a swimsuit? I mean, how often do you see models in magazines like Vogue or Elle in swimsuits? Yes, you see them in summer issues, but swimsuits only occupy a small place in the fashion industry. It shouldn't be a necessity for a model...
It was also hinted that I needed to lose some weight...lol well that was expected...but don't worry, I won't transform into a size 0 I've got more love for myself than to allow myself to become anorexic. I'm just going to tone a bit.
When I'm feeling better you'll be seeing some new photos. I plan on doing several photoshoots with some friends in celebration of the end of exams
Ah, and I don't know what the heck it's about, but something's happening on DA on the 22nd and I'm hyped. Spread the hype (see stamp below)
